Light for what, cigs? You want djeeps if you can find them. Similar to a bic but they last a lot longer, the butane is better and the lighter overall is much more solid while staying similar in price.

Personally I'd recommend buying yourself a couple $2 electric lighters that have the nipple on the botttom so you can refill it and a bottle of 7x or greater refined butane. Get a pen or something and dump the shit butane out (hold lighter right side up, empty and wait a minute, do it again, then shake the lighter up and down to get the compressed air out, which helps avoid air pockets) and refill with the more refined butane.

I think Butane cost like $4 over here for 7x, the difference is pretty big. Standard butane is disgusting and pretty bad for you, the refined stuff is much better, might be healthier, not sure.

yes, we're well aware of what a djeep is. they are shit lighters that are popular among the kind of amateur smokers who can't make up their minds between nat shermans and dunhills. wretched idiots like myself who smoke many thousands of cigarettes a year are going to go through probably a bic or two a month. i've had zippos and a $70 windproof ronson and they may be fantastic, but within six months they are going to disappear or i'll tire of filling them. at this stage of my career, what i'm after a bic that has some sort of nonstandard prewar butane and a printed on logo that's obscure enough to enable me to identify and recover it when it ends up in a friend's pocket, thus lasting many times longer than a regular bic with no additional hassle.
