Thinking i will be there in January and think it may be a good experience to do the drive. Is the drive worth doing or should i just fly direct into Vegas?

Anything worth seeing on the way or is it just desert ?

the perfect time is to leave LA at like 4.. 5am.. you pass through this mountain range covered in layers of fog as the sun comes up. then right around 7am youre in the desert with the morning sun. shits just gorgeous.

but driving at night sounds no fun at all if i cant see shit whats the point. maybe its all desert anyway and noting to see. i was just gonna fly bkk > vegas but best i can find is like 30+ hours travel time with all the changing of planes. fuck that for a laugh i can get to la in like half the time but if i am only going to catch another plane after that its probably pointless.

my flight to BKK was 13 hours but it was no stops from LA -> BKK.

those flights apparently no longer happen, *everything* i see stops in Seoul at least and is like 20 hours minimum.

The flag carrier will phase out and possibly write off the four A340-500s used on the route.

THAI blamed the high price of oil, trading at about US$137 a barrel in Singapore, for the cancellation of the Bangkok-Los Angeles service, the airline's longest non-stop flight.

well michael i can tell you gare is incorrect and i do in fact work for a living. i have traveled a fair bit and usually work whatever construction job i can find, mainly carpentry or steel fixing. sometimes i just play poker instead but eventually i get bored of that as poker is very lonely especially online.
