Literally watched this last night. I don't think my uncle knew what he was getting into by the time the movie really got going. He had to barre children from the den as it raged on.

The chicken leg (don't want to spoil it) scene was hof.

Also, the most hilarious part about watching this movie with a room full of my relatives probably wasn't actually the shock value of the flick, it was being amongst other assholes observant and analytical enough to point out that it wasn't actually filmed in Texas. One of my other uncles brought it up quickly into the movie, I pointed out the coastal flora, particularly tree types, narrowing it down to close to the gulf coast. Then later Louisiana was brought up, which turned out to be correct - New Orleans.

The absurdity of these discussions coupled with the deep throat scene was overwhelming. Like who the fuck even brings that up, then makes a project of it while a film like this is playing?
