Montecristo sandwich, aka the king of all samiches. Bennigan's used to have one. I think they all closed, I know Gbot was a big fan. Next time you come to the colonies you should seek out this samich. Basically its

swiss cheese
ham
turkey
a mustard or mayo or spread mix

make the bread like french toast and layer your fixings. Instead of making it like french toast, you can also use a batter mixture and deep fry it. I recommend deep frying. sprinkle some powdered sugar on top. Now for the dipping sauce. Get something small that you can use as a dipping bowl. Pour it halfway full of maple syrup. Dip samich as needed.
