That's alright Gare, I threw down $25 for some low B grade sushi last week. Sushi is half price through the week so you know they're getting everything fresh from Japan. Here's the review



Being in the midwest, fish ain't fresh. We're getting farmed raised salmon that's leftover from what the supermarkets bought. My salmon was edible but a bit slimy. Spicy tuna roll was decent although it had a tuna fish tartare texture. Mackerel is as good as it's gonna get for $2 a piece and the portion is better than a grocery store "made fresh everyday" sushi piece. Imitation crab meat was...well...imitationionistly average. The deep fried tempura cream cheese deal was pretty good. California roll (came with dinner) was really about a D on the grade scale. Somewhere in between gas station sushi and a chinese buffet version. I got the sushi deluxe dinner $12-14 and some side hand rolls. Hand rolls are the shit and anyone who gets regular rolls is a pussy. All in all, it was alright.
