About Sarah: Sarah Eisenlohr is a student at the University of Montana who will graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2013, with an emphasis in painting. Sarah explains her work by saying, “My latest series of work uses collage medium to transform existing landscapes into ones that show the consequences of human impact when we occupy them. The series was originally influenced by geographical maps and taking note of how their appearance has been altered over time due to factors like discovery of new land, warfare and population growth. My collages draw from the idea of the world map as a display of natural forms, however, when looking in closer, they have been marked by boundaries and modified to accommodate our existence. I want to show the collision between the organic and inorganic.” http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/Arti...?d=yIl2AUoC8zA http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/Arti...AU:F7zBnMyn0Lo http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/Arti...AU:V_sGLiPBpWU http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/Arti...?d=qj6IDK7rITs http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/Arti...AU:gIN9vFwOqvQ http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/Artis...~4/gA9ec3f9pQY More... |
