Leo, Blue and Jack
Location: Woodbridge, Virginia, USA
http://www.dailykitten.com/wp-conten...743kittehs.jpg This picture is of the “twins” Leo (the biggest) and Blue (dubbed “Blue” because of the blue nail polish we put on his one paw to distinguish him from his twin). Jack, the little girl, is the black w/ white socks. They are 2 weeks old here! Our neighbor found 3 kittens originally. He called us since we were “animal people”. We left them alone for a few hours, but momma cat only came back for 1, and with a storm coming, we took in the other 2. We tried to give them back to the mom after feeding them, but the next morning, there was an extra kitten added! We took them in again, fed and cleaned them, and that evening, tried again to give them back. She took one, left the other 2. We took the other 2 in and decided to keep them and catch the mom. During the course of that 3rd day, the neighbor found 2 kittens out and about, one had a tick. So we had the 4 kittens. We tried to catch mom, but she escaped the trap TWICE. Sadly, we lost one (the runt) to pneumonia. So as of today, the 3 we have left are 2 weeks old, and seemingly thriving. Eyes open, and already exploring and playing on all 4 feet! More... |
