WPT $100k Super High Roller Brings In 29; Bonomo, Lindgren Lead

http://cdn.wickedchopspoker.com/wp-c...op-shirt-1.jpg Erik Lindgren isn't afraid to gamble a $100k buy-in at the Bellagio, and so far he's crushing.

That was unexpected.

A couple of months ago, pre-The Events of 4/15TM when all of the online sites were whipping their dicks out in an arms race to see who could hold the highest number of high buy-in events, the WPT Championship $100,000 Super High Roller felt very me-too-ish.

Fast forward a few weeks, and this is the only super high roller event around, with none other likely on theSUCKINGHOBBITDICKShorizon. Out of nowhere, the WPT Super High Roller is suddenly the Greg Oden of Super High Rollers.

Oh yeah, that was NSFW.

An impressive 29 registered for the WPT Championship $100k. Even more impressively, not one of those 29 were named Howard Lederer, Phil Ivey, Tom ‘durrrr’ Dwan, Patrik Antonius, Andy Bloch, Gus Hansen, or any of the other usual Full Tilt suspects for these events.

Of the 29 who registered, 22 survived. Justin Bonomo ended Day 1 as chip leader, stacked at 1,330,000. Erik Lindgren is second overall with 1,130,000.

Daniel Negreanu showed up late but built up a big stack, ending play fourth overall with 820,000. Erik Seidel showed up on time but ended the day as short-stack with 175,000.

Early eliminations included Phil Laak, Phil Galfond, and Dan “Jungleman” Cates.

Hi, I'm Hazel! My mommy and daddy adopted me from a shelter along with my brother, Dug. I love my new family. They give me lots of snuggles and even let me sleep on the couch! I love to play with my brother. I try to play with Lucy, the 13-year old big black Lab who lives with me too, though she doesn't like me much! Playing with ice cubes and using my huge eyes to get treats are my favorite hobbies!
