Lindsay Lohan Turns 25; Reminds Us Why We First Fell in Lust

To sum up Lindsay Lohan on her 25th birthday: Lindsay looked hot!

Yes, I prefer the ginger to the blonde, but there's no denying the quarter-century-old actress fresh off a brutal month of house arrest in her luxury beach condo stole the show at her own birthday party over the weekend, with her full Lohan melons outlined nicely under her white dress, her legs looking sharp as ever. While I must admit that I've had more than three dreams about Lindsay Lohan lesbionics in the prison showers, it's a pleasure to see the young veteran sextastic looking her best out and about among the free peoples. Let's remind ourselves that Lindsay Lohan isn't just popular for falling down drunk and accidentally flashing her inebriated underthings, underneath it all, she's one hell of a hot nekkid lady. Enjoy.

For Katie Holmes Fans, It’s Katie Full Bikini for the Fourth of July

Okay, technically, these were from over the weekend, and the occasion really was husband Tom Cruise and his 49th birthday yesterday, but Katie Holmes in just a bikini top and bottom is a rare sighting these days indeed, and truly a sign of Katie independence. Now, I'm fully aware that Katie has not recovered the midsection post-MILFtastic transformation quite the same as some of our uber-hottie supermodels and actresses, but for those of you (and me) for whom the lust switch is forever set to the ON position in regard to Katie Holmes, just seeing her out of mom jeans and flannels creates fireworks in our pants (yeah, I went there on the 4th). Enjoy.

Eva Longoria Bikini Pictures Signal Revenge from the South of Spain

They say that revenge is a dish best served cold. Apparently, Eva Longoria didn't get the memo, because she's been booty knocking Penelope Cruz's little brother, Eduardo Cruz, on different boats under sail around the northern hemisphere for the past couple of months since her divorce with San Antonio Spurs guard, Tony Parker. And, yes, I'm sure she'd call it love, but when your personal port of entry has been seeing more inbound and outbound traffic than O'Hare on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, well, I think even the fairer sex will admit that it's hard to tell the difference.

In her latest round of conscious or sub-conscious revenge on her former husband, Eva Longoria took her veteran hotness to the South of Spain and donned a white bikini, prancing about the forecastle on all fours, butt up, facing toward the Lone Star state some six thousand miles away. When I think about the slumber party madness Eduardo used to witness in the Cruz family household with Penelope and Monica, and now, how he gets to slap and tickle with Eva Longoria, well, yes, the green-eyed monster rears its ugly head once more. Still, nobody can ever take away our right to ogle. Or, enjoy.

Ashley Tisdale Bikini Beach Party, It’s Sharpay Boobay and Bootay

Well, it's the 4th of July here in the States, and so you can expect to be seeing an extra dollop or two of celebrity bikini servings today, starting off with this mega-bikini post of the petite and sweet-legged Ashley Tisdale, who took to the beach of Malibu over the weekend to celebrate her birthday with a bunch of buddies and brews and a colorful bikini that highlighted her hard-working body.

And, yes, that is Zac Efron in there somewhere putting his paws on Ashley Tisdale, though, if you look closely, you'll note his hand-to-butt touching is a bit different than we saw with The Devil's Midget on Selena Gomez bikini butt a few weeks ago. This touching is a bit more, howyou might say, sororital. Still, I'd pay a million shekels just to have my digits that close to Tisdale tight bikini bottom, so, I remain ever the jealous one. Enjoy.

Doyle Brunson to Sit Out 2011 WSOP Main Event

The $10,000 Main Event of the 2011 World Series of Poker (WSOP) is set to launch this week, but despite the thousands of players expected to compete, the electric atmosphere, and all the pomp and circumstance that comes with the biggest poker tournament in the world, there will be a noticeable void at the Rio this year. Doyle Brunson will not be in attendance.

“The Godfather of Poker,” arguably the most famous poker player of all-time and one of eighteen living members of the Poker Hall of Fame, announced early Monday morning that he will be sitting out the No-Limit Hold’em World Championship this year, tweeting, “No main event for me.” In the same post, he took a jab at the United States Department of Justice for its actions against online poker, adding, “maybe the DOJ will stake me.”

Despite that staking comment, the reason for Brunson’s decision is not likely to be a lack of bankroll, assuming a tweet later in the day is true. Responding to a flood of comments, Brunson said, “Tx for all the tweets about my skipping the main event. It’s not about money, I’ve lost a lot of passion for the game since Black Friday.”

In addition to the Black Friday frustration, Brunson may be a bit upset about his recent WSOP performance, as he has not had a successful WSOP, failing to cash in any event for the second year in a row. His final tournament this year was the $50,000 Poker Player’s Championship, in which he busted out during Day 2. Showing obvious frustration, he tweeted, “Busted… Total nightmare… Goodbye WSOP.”

Shortly thereafter, Brunson made his official Twitter announcement regarding his decision to not play in the Main Event.

Sheer fatigue could also be a factor. A single, prolonged day playing in a tournament at the World Series of Poker is exhausting for even the most spry poker players, but for a soon-to-be 78-year old, the idea of possibly playing for eight days if all goes well can be downright intimidating.

That said, it’s not like Brunson hasn’t had any success in big tournaments in the last several years. He placed 24th in May’s World Poker Tour (WPT) Championship, 18th in last December’s WPT event that bear’s his name (2010 Doyle Brunson Five Diamond World Poker Classic), 17th in the 2009 WSOP-Europe Main Event, and made the final table in the 2009 WSOP Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo event.

And, of course, as most poker fans know, Doyle Brunson has won ten WSOP gold bracelets, tied with Johnny Chan for second all-time, just one behind Phil Hellmuth. His last bracelet was won in 2005, when he took down the $5,000 Short Handed No-Limit Hold’em event. He started his bracelet run by winning five from 1976 through 1978, including back-to-back Main Event championships in 1976 and 1977.

Over the weekend, Brunson even stated that he might be done with major live tournaments altogether. Two days before his WSOP announcement, he posted on Twitter, “…you might be watching my last tournament. If I don’t play well (up to my standards), I may retire from tournament poker.”

There is no indication, however, that “Texas Dolly” will stop playing cash games. In fact, he responded to a Twitter follower by saying that he was not quitting live poker.

All told, Brunson has won over $6 million in his live tournament career, placing him 39th on the all-time money list once invitationals and buy-ins of more than $50,000 are excluded.

Alejandra Laviada

http://www.aadstatic.com/uploads/ale..._342243423.jpg

About Alejandra:

Alejandra Laviada lives and works in Mexico City. Her work explores the shifting place of photography relative to other art disciplines such as painting and sculpture. To achieve this, she often creates interdisciplinary images, such as photographing self-made installations.

Each project occupies a different part of Mexico City on the verge or in the process of being demolished and redeveloped. Laviada creates ‘interventions’ using only objects found on site, and then documents them on camera.

In 2010, she received an honorable mention at the twelfth annual Photography Biennial in Mexico. Prior to that her Photo Sculpture series was awarded a Photo Espana Descubrimientos Prize and she was named one of American Photo’s photographers of the year.

Her work has been exhibited widely, including the New York Photo Festival, Peek–the Art & Commerce Festival for Emerging Photographers–and the Hyeres Photography Festival in France. Her photography has also appeared in publications including New York Times’ T Magazine, Wallpaper and American Photo.
