The Shuttle Era’s Final Spacewalk
 

Spacewalker Ron Garan rides on the International Space Station's robotic arm as he transfers a failed pump module to the cargo bay of space shuttle Atlantis. About Brandon:

Brandon Maldonado was born in 1980. He resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico, an environment rich in hispanic arts and culture. As a child, he was introduced to the fantastical realm of Star Wars and the monsters of Michael Jackson’s Thriller, which first sparked his artistic imagination. In his teens he turned to graffiti, an influence that still can be seen in his works to this day. Maldonado holds a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from the College of Santa Fe with a focus in Philosophy and world religion he also holds an associate’s degree in fine art but considers himself to be a primarily self taught artist whose most essential technical development was based on the independent study of the paintings of the old masters including Jan Van Eyck and Dominique Ingres among others.

Hi guys! My name is Diego! People think I'm probably a Chihuahua, Terrier and Dachshund mix. My three brothers and I were all rescued from a trashcan and adopted into loving homes. My best friend is my step brother, a Vizsla named Huey. Even though he's about ten times my size, we love playing tug-o'-war and wrestling. I can already sit, climb the stairs and have even learned how to swim! I make friends with everybody I meet. When I'm not being mischievous and playing I'm looking for somebody to cuddle with!

I never understood what it meant to smell like cigarette smoke until I spent my first night away from home at college for undergrad. As I hung my clothes in the campus provided chifferobe, I noticed that everything from my favorite denim jacket to the duffel bag I carried it in smelled like I had been hanging in a back alley pool hall. Now I understood why past boyfriends had always suspected that I had been in a bar all night or why classmates in high school would always assume I had a lighter. I never could smell it until I actually moved out of my house. The problem is that I didn't even smoke, but I did live in a house with parents who had smoked all of my life.Share Tweet

Pippa, so named for her elegance and grace is a gorgeous four month old marble bengal kitten given to me as a very special gift. Her adult brothers have mixed feeling for her, but the five year old Chester is a great match for her energy and exuberance. Indoors, she is quite the little hunter carrying her toys around in her mouth and dispatching them swiftly before they escape. This loving, vocal and playful girl enjoys her lap time too.
