Only a rube thinks that isn't a good percentage double covered and with defenders knowing you are likely going to be the one shooting. NBA percentage average is about 40% for guards anyway, and that's with open layups and passes you don't have the luxury of in the final seconds.
Average percentage for an outside shot in the NBA is about 35%. Double covered is likely far less.
Also I hate Kobe.
