Jay Z is easily the most overrated rapper of all time. He's been banking off of being a mediocre rapper with no competition in the world's premier media market, Timbaland stealing that Big Pimpin' beat and the Southern flare UGK added to it, and a corruption of the Rockefeller name and it's association with the average American's psyche for years. He has like 3 or 4 decent tracks, but come on people, compare him to any of a 100 other rappers. . .

The thing about Jay Z is, his highs are peerless. Most of what he does is totally generic. But when he really uncorks a winner there isnt much thats going to stand in its way.
