I always had the same problem with guys when I was younger. I think it's due to having a measure of low self esteem... kind of like the adage - "I wouldn't want to belong to any club that would accept me as a member." If you don't think much of yourself, you instinctively lose respect for any girl that thinks highly of you, thus destroying any chance of a healthy relationship developing. The only solution is to work on yourself and learn to love YOU. Good luck.
