I hate to break it to Gare, but this douche they have playing Spider-man now will just never seem legit. I think the public agrees by the film not breaking a 100 mill on it's opening weekend (92 mill), when Spider-man 3 went over 150 mill back in 2007 with way, way lower ticket prices averages. Rebooting the franchise that quickly has backfired and there is no telling what the budget of this ended up at with all of the overbearing advertising. Sony can't even outdo Captain America with fucking Spider-man, and I guarantee you it is because of Andrew Garfield. He comes across as extremely unlikable, apparently most of the nerd fans have that same feeling, and it leaves you wondering who the idiot was that signed off on that casting choice.
