hi my name is dave and, i am a degenerate gambler. oh hey, 125 to 1 odds with the attendant 99.99999% chance of losing??? yes please!!!
on that note, i have $50 each on the following Master's golf tournament participants:
1. every South African (allegedly all of the South Africans know a secret about reading the greens that they all learned from Gary Player. and no, Behemoth, it isn't that the greens all break towards the old slave graveyard buried underneath rae's creek. i just made that up, but I'm gonna tell everyone i know that it is true)
2. fred couples - somebody has to be this year's tom watson/ernie els feel good story re old guy making last run. plus he's like 200 to 1.
3. rickie fowler - he went to oklahoma state and his betting line is 50 to 1, nuff said.
4. kevin streelman - literally only betting him because he is like 250 to 1 and his name reminds me of steel reserve.
5. ryan meere - rookie from macon, georgia who is 10th in fedex points and ranked like 2nd in overall "he got game", ie driving distance, accuracy, gir, etc. he's the hometown kid on a hot streak playing in the masters for the first time. basically bagger vance minus will smith but with like 150 to 1 odds.
