Girls is probably the funniest shit on TV in the last 20+ years. I think you have to go back to The Larry Sanders Show to find better writing.

I think Louie is artistically superior probably and Im starting to wonder if having first person experience with growing up in/around NYC is a requisite for "getting" Girls but for me, I absolutely cherish this fucking show.
