I finally decided to watch the show on Netflix. This lead to me watching all episodes there up until the season 5 break then downloading the rest. It really does live up to the hype, despite it being one big, literally gay love story.
How will it end?
SPOILERS FOR THOSE WHO AREN'T CAUGHT UP
With the flash forwards, Walter has obviously made it to New Hampshire for around a year. The show is about all actions having consequences, so if the writers had any balls, this would mean Walt Jr., Skyler, and Hollie, who he supposedly made all of the money for, have somehow wound up dead.
Meanwhile, he obviously beat the cancer, at least temporarily, and is living with the consequences of his actions. He is either going back to enact revenge and or rescue Jesse. They won't have any balls. If Hank doesn't die, it would likely ruin the entire show for me.

An interesting thing I noticed is that when Walter is vomiting for the first time from the chemo, he grabs a towel, folds it and places it under his knees in front of the toilet exactly like Gus did to puke out the poison before he took out the cartel bosses. He also takes pills, and this all makes it seem like he is faking the cancer's return and taking pills to help with nausea from the treatments again paralleling Gus taking the pills to block the absorption. . . This also could mean that Jesse gets killed like Gus's Chilean chemist lover did and he is out for revenge on the Aryan brotherhood dudes.

Btw im on season 3 and im on the second half of season five. I realized it would be impossible for me to find time to get caught up before the series ended and it would be impossible to avoid the ending. Downside is some of the suspense is lost (but show is so good it either doesn't matter and/or there is enough surprises that have nothing to do with the ending)

what a rube i avoided the ending for 2 years, look at this guy not knowing how to not have tv shows spoiled for him
The dude's rich as hell and is the most Machiavellian TV character of all time.
But that could be another example of him taking on the traits of his victims. I think it was way too uncanny to not have more meaning though.
