A big problem is that people aren't decent to each other anymore. Common courtesy, kindness, manners. Non existent in today's society. And the kids coming up. Forget about ever watching one of these kids hold a door open for a little old lady. No no no. Wouldn't want to pull your pimply face out of that Iphone long enough to interact with another human being.
Our way of life needs to be modified and some kind of socialism hybrid should replace our current capitalistic machine.
1% of the population possesses the vast majority of our cumulative wealth. That means the middle class simply doesn't have the spending power to reignite our economy anymore and you have an elite group of cash hoarding criminals stifling recovery.
I heard a great idea on ABC Sunday This Week...
One of the panel members suggested that we should give every citizen a $20,000 exemption on state and federal income taxes.
You want to stimulate spending ? I can't think of a better way than by giving the middle class a break on the approximately 30% personal income tax (for their first 20K earned) and putting those dollars back into the hands of small business and the 'average' American, instead of flushing it away on wars in Libya, bank bailouts and other needless waste.
was watching the news last night and Cars.com did a survey of all the parts (imported and exported) in a Chevy model and a Toyota model.
Since we have several Toyota plants here in the U.S., the question was which purchase is better to stimulate U.S. job growth
Turns out that the Toyota models built here in the U.S have over 65% parts built here, and the Chevy has approximately 75% parts built all over the place. (radios from Mexico, seats from Canada) etc etc.
bottom line its that its actually better for Americans to buy a Japanese car instead of a Chevy.
