Working, golf and lots of meds
I haven't been reading the forums as of late. I tried to follow the Wsop as much as I could but been working ridiculously long hours and any extra time has been on the golf course.
The whole Jewdonk thing is A+ by the way.
Drk and I have been working on a few new projects. I quit one of my jobs which in tailed running 2 restaurants and doing taxes for 14 companies. Took a 6 figure hit a year for leaving these family businesses but I couldn't do it all. I tried having a personal assistant, but that didn't help, and with the whole anxiety issues that have been plaguing me for the last year something needed to change, because upping my meds every other week was not the answer.
A super hot friend of drk got us a job making a pretty sick website. Should take about 4 months to complete and when it launches should be a good time, especially since Ill own 40% of the software we are writing.
Got an e-billing software that is excellent for small to medium sized companies which is awesome, and after 2 years we finished writing our point of sale system. It's been in our restaurants for over 2 years and we've been making changes as we needed to.
It helps that the person programming the software is also the owner of restaurants. I disliked everything out there. We made the entire software work on Android, so waiters and waitresses can take your order at the table with a small 7" tablet or even an android phone. There are some products for the iOS that try to accomplish this, but in reality they are not even close to having a product that could truly work in a fast paced fast food restaurants.
I put some videos on YouTube and after a week I was getting so many e-mails I had to make the link private. So should be a good time once we set up the proper infrastructure to roll out the system.
Building sales forces is not a lot of fun, so I'm leaving that to the giant ginger.
