Apologies, also props to Dave for pulling the trigger when I had a job interview. Sadly this disorder tends to be low on the list of favorites for any psychologist to take on as typically anyone trying to HELP becomes instantly vilified and usually attacked.

Scuter if your intention is to try and ween your sister away from religion you are going to have to wait for her to come to you unfortunately. Yeah so then I realized I was forcing myself to believe something I didn't, then I started allowing angles to be shown, angles like demeaning women for control, poisoning children's minds, the story of jesus and how it parlays into guilt and shame, everything kind of hit me all at once and took a good 2-3 days to all sink in.
Once that epiphany hit me in bed though, it was pretty much an avalanche and could not be undone.
So if you want to help your sister, the hardest part is getting HER to approach YOU. Solve that and you are nearly home free, the last piece of the puzzle is preventing regression. I still fight that here and there, like "what if you're WRONG????? Hell for all eternity!" It was harder back a couple months ago, over time the brainwashing wears off. Initially however, it's potentially very challenging as if your sister has christian influences around her, in person, you are fighting an uphill battle.
Better to get some face to face discourse going and ferret out the negative external influences all in the same shot, otherwise you will have her yo-yo'ing and this could potentially hurt her I think. The "all or nothing, he lives or dies" approach you took with me WILL WORK, but you have to have faith in yourself as I do.
I have faith in YOU John, if you do as well go for it, but be careful. I probably had harder defenses to overcome, but I also have tremendous resiliency and when you and I really got into it, my external influence was on his way out the door for afganistan.
Had I been clean and sober and going to church weekly, I would say your chances of having gotten through dropped precipitously.

I am in no hurry to buy the 300z and the seller isn't in a hurry to sell it.
All about motivation at this point.
I need goals dude, this car is a mile from me, I see Her daily, this is keeping me on the right track.
Trust me, I am doing pretty good but my mental status and emotional stability is fragile. I think (correct me if i'm wrong) having some solid goals and things I desire to work hard for will keep me on the straight and narrow.
Also I am in the process of acquiring and older toyota 1/2 ton, early 80's, this I plan to have as my daily and also sleep in it (camper shell) if I need to.
The car is definitely a luxury I can't afford YET, and every morning I am up at 6am ready to kick ass for the day because I want to be back on my feet ASAP
I am clean and sober and instead of craving meth I am craving being in the gym and desiring this car BADLY, if this sounds like i am trading addictions it's true and that's all I have right now.

If he will agree to a payment plan buy it immediately and then sell it immediately. Take the cash and get a place to live. Keep making the payments obv or else he will take you to small claims court and get an insta judgment against that will remain on your credit report until the judgment is paid in full and a release is filed.
Car is a sick deal for the price. Too bad you arent in a position to keep it. But do the above if possible.
Also you could always buy one of those old school little rvs and use it as both a place to live and transportation. Would be preferable to a camper shell because of the kitchen and the bathroom. Musician friend of mine bought one and lived in it in los angeles and only went mildly and temporarily crazy from the experience. In the meantime he saved a years worth of rent and the freedom to play gigs and fly fish all over california. LA was the home port though.

Wish I had the patience/time to proofread. What I meant was (Scuter) if you are talking to your sister via MSN about all of this, she isn't likely to be terribly receptive. Additionally if there is a close external influence (like mom or something) pushing church church church on her, you aren't going to win. Period.
You are going to have to make a choice here, how much does your sister mean to you and how badly do you want her healthy? If helping her means as much to you as I think it does, you need to spend a couple weeks if not months around her and the pieces will fall into place. If you can't make the commitment, move on.
That is my opinion, but I believe it to be a qualified one and if you intend to knock me for giving an unsolicited opinion don't bother. You remarked somewhere in this thread you guinea pigged me to help her, thus I responded as I believe my opinion on the issue is valid.

My neighbor told me the same thing. He has a friend who has lived in one she bought for 1k for the last 3 years and she loves it.
A point to ponder, the toyota I can obtain through working for it vs buying cash tho, which seemed a great idea to me (still does)
