A mod killed the discussion of whether or not it was appropriate to punish those who "insult great religions with impunity" on the le Carre Official Fan page on Facebook, immediately after I responded. This happens to me literally non-stop.



It's not that I think what I have to say is especially important or vital (although it is, I just don't think there is any point in imagining a species reduced to such a level would even be capable of giving a fuck about Truth) but it's just indicative of the nauseating insanity that is the hypocrisy and narcissistic preaching at others to let them do what they have no intention of allowing. Just fucking maniacal shrewd.

The same mod then posted an incredulous link to a book which le Carre and Richard Dawkins (the mod's two favourite authors, he felt compelled to let us know on account of his opinion's inherent value) contributed to, eviscerating the "War on Terror" for it's insanity. The annual budget of the BBC is worth 24 minutes of the UK's involvement in the decade-long War on...yeah. The mod quipped, "How did I not hear about this!?"
