just theoretically, can you give me a context (any context) where the sentence -- "Frederick Douglass is an example of somebody who's done an amazing job and is getting recognized more and more, I notice" -- makes any sense? tell me how the speaker of those words could possibly know who frederick douglass is? use it in a paragraph.
you're legit worse than sidedish when it comes to defending trump. even sidedish didn't try to defend this. you're essentially the sparten
"I am very proud now that we have a museum on the National Mall where people can learn about Reverend King, so many other things," Trump said. "Frederick Douglass is an example of somebody who's done an amazing job and is being recognized more and more, I notice."
Trump added: "Harriet Tubman, Rosa Parks, and millions more black Americans who made America what it is today. Big impact."
Poor word choice, but I don't see how it's not obvious he's classifying him in the same category as King, Parks, and Tubman.
