For a gringo, more safe than pretty much any US city. No common sense needed. I was also lying about the head chopped off comment. If they thought you were there selling the shit maybe but i doubt it. Everybody says you'd get your head chopped off, but I know one guy who was selling for the wrong team and was caught. His boys just got their asses kicked and told to leave town. He got word and bounced to Mazaltan before they got him.
