Help with relationship advice in dealing with Marty.

So I was out of Siberia for like 1-2 days. My day was brightened, I got to hear from ol Marty. Well... one day I actually was away from my computer. In fact, I wasn't even in the house. That doesn't prevent Marty from sending me messages ... Well at some point my computer responds with an away message. "I am not at the computer right now." Well one of these and Marty becomes enraged. I am back in Siberia.

Do I just need to log out of AIM when I am not there ? Is giving 100% of your time to AIM when you are online the only way ? How would you guys approach it ?
