That's pretty shaky logic. The corruption burns off the screen. The corruption is Chrome, Firefox, IE and Safari FORCING their Root CAs onto your computer. That's a proactive, unnecessary, malicious act that is justified only if they're acting as the "moral authority".

The GoDaddy / Starfield certificate is ostensibly okay, but it's for osuosl.org (Oregon State) who are linked to openid.net because they host them or something? If certifying an SSL domain is beyond their capacity, when I could get it done in about 40 minutes, one wonders whether they should be handling Google and Facebook federated signins across the Internet.
