backstory this family had rented out the small house off to the side of the lakehouse for 20 years. 20 years they had paid $400 a month rent and took care of the property for us. In a fit of insane benevolence my dad gave the fucking lakehouse to these hicks. Clear title. Land too.

Whats worse is that the reason I hadnt been to the cabin is because there were literally hundreds of tousands of daddy long leg spiders everywhere there. I didnt want to admit I was fucking terrified of them.
I showed no interest in the house or keeping it up so my dad gave it away.
