I got the one hit thing from Mike, he actually apologized for telling me. He said some guy he knew had just been hired to be a carpenter and the guys boss was going to fire him after the first day since he couldn't drive the 16 penny nails in one whack. The boss was actually standing behind him chastising him and it got so that the dude quit and at the end of the day left 100 nails halfway driven and said fuck it and walked off the job.
nevermind about the fancy hammer questions, I'm happy as a clam with the one I picked up. I just practiced on about three dozen nails and I'm getting better, I just need practice. We are supposed to build 80 raised beds for West Valley College and he said I could get all the practice I could possibly hope for rofl so I'm all set. Thanks for all the advice.

Your experience is invaluable. Mike just watched the video and says your accuracy is amazing. He's driven a shit ton of nails into everything conceivable over the years building sheds greenhouses etc which reminds me to get pictures of that shed he built online. I'll take some new ones tomorrow.
