Actually I think I am, still got another 18 months on my Canadian visa but wont stay here after that. Its really a choice between South America and SE Asia right now but for sure I will move to one of them for a year or so.

Hopefully I can get a job as scooters butler but if that fails then I will probably move to North Dakota and work in the oil fields or join the navy seals or something
As you must already know after your time living there you can stay 90 days at a time on a tourist visa, leave the country and then come back on a new one.
Alternatively pay for language classes for a year and you don't have to leave the country every 90 days just report to immigration instead and they extend your visa right away.
but either way its not that difficult or expensive to stay in Thailand for years on end if you want as i know a fair few people who are doing exactly that
