About David:

David Fullarton is a Scottish born, San Francisco based visual artist specializing in works that combine images with text. He keeps notebooks filled with scribbled phrases, scraps of paper and other ephemera that he incorporates into his artwork. These elements represent the often overlooked stuff of daily life, which is the root of Fullarton’s inspiration. He sees beauty in the ways people manage to find joy and meaning in the minutiae. The artist paints vibrantly complex canvases whose elements jumble and mix together in a facsimile of modern life. Fullarton compliments these with smaller mixed media drawings on paper.

David explains this series of work by saying, “This is an ongoing series of small mixed media drawings. Each one is an imagined apology combined with a pencil portrait drawn from found pictures of people I’ve never met. Although I’m British, I’ve lived in the USA for the last 16 years, which means I come from a place where everyone constantly aplogises for everything, and I live in a place where no one ever apologizes for anything. This series has come about as a result of that experience. The pieces are also intended to explore the capability of a short, contextless phrase to insinuate a variety of larger and more complex narratives in the perception of the beholder.”

I found Miss Fuzzywig out at a horse farm this winter and I fell in love with so bad. She is the most fluffly, soft, cuddly kitten I ever saw. I wanted to bring her home with me, but she was "Grandma’s" favorite and didn’t want to part with her. I guess, I have to be happy to just visit her at the farm.

I’m not sure what fashion show Salma Hayek was attending in these pictures, and I don’t really care about looking it up. Somehow I’m guessing you guys won’t lose any sleep over it. Instead, let’s focus on what’s really important here: Salma’s awesome cleavage. Forget the runway, I’d want front row seats to those any day of the week. Anybody out there know a guy who can hook me up? I’m willing to pay above face value.

Looks like I was right when I predicted we’d be seeing a lot more of Miranda Kerr in super-tight jeans. Because now that Miranda’s modeling for Mango, I’m guessing she’s contractually obligated to wear them out for the paparazzi at least a few times a week. Which means we get the benefit of awesome pictures like this, where Miranda’s wearing jeans so tight she can barely bend her knees, while Mango attempts to convince normal women they’ll look half as good in their jeans as Miranda does.
