ROFL this is great.

Twice he applied for an American visa, first to visit Disneyland, and subsequently to enable him to pursue a new career as a professional 10-pin bowler. He was refused on both occasions.

His second wife, Kay, died during a failed abortion she undertook to conceal an illicit affair. Amin reputedly ordered her body to be dismembered and re-assembled with the limbs reversed as a warning to his other wives.

Id urge you to watch Idi Amin Dada, Barbet Schroeder's documentary on the man.

He had to edit it once in Ugana, as Amin insisted he vet any footage they used, then they had to smuggle the "real" raw footage out of the country at the very real risk of being literally eaten partially or in whole by Idi Amin with the remainder fed to crocodiles should they be caught, so it could be re-edited once they were safe.

Example.. there is footage of an emergency cabinet meeting where some minor official is taken to task for some absurdity.

They showed it straight as recorded to Amin, but once they got it out of the country they were able to pause the film during a close up of the clearly terrified official while explaining that he had been fed to the crocs some days later, and that there was a rumor Idi feasted on his heart while he was still alive (sort of), so on.

Im paraphrasing as I havent watched it in a decade+ but you get the idea.
