My kittens name is Puss Puss, her mom was a stray that delivered two of them upon a roof which was unsafe and it seems that she left, the owner of the house then offered me one. She was approximately three days old. She slept a lot we kept her in a shoe box to keep warm and not stepped on, she was very energetic for being fed but I noticed she missed a mothers touch. She would knead my hands when feeding her, she would get irritated with the bottle I used and try biting down on it. I tried to mimic what her mom would do to help her out. Even assisting her bowel movements. Everyone in the house quickly became attached and believed she knew our smell even though she could not see. Once we were near she would cry, she was going pretty well or so we thought, we did a lot of reading up on how to help her.

She was pretty much the our baby, so after three weeks we believed she would be find but on Friday 15th June she got a diarrhea. I did not know how bad it was until I saw my husbands eyes, I did some Google searches to see what can be done to help and tried to get her to swallow but she was so weak I could not get enough down to help her dehydration. Around midnight she crawled out of the blanket, so I had hope. I stayed up the entire night trying to keep her warm and to get her to feed, I prayed so much. So it was really heart breaking to see her made her last cry at 5:59 am on the 16th June. I stayed quiet and still hoped with tears streaming down my face, I lay her down in her basket really wishing she just went to sleep, but as the morning progressed there was no cries no matter how much I wished, prayed, nothing…still missing her today, but i needed to say thanks for this site. This is our second kitten that we have lost by no fault of our own and we keep saying never again. But I know that would not last long as we love our cats.
