Four Fashionable Fosters Part 2: Prada
Jaime says: When this foster litter came to me, the little girl Prada was a nutcase, to be honest. I found myself frustrated with her in the first few weeks because she was an incredibly aggressive kitten, especially when it came to food. I started them on bottles but quickly realized it couldn't happen with her because she would growl and spit and claw at both the bottle and my hands. Once I started feeding them by saucer with their milk, she would do the same routine to her siblings. I eventually had to separate her to feed her. She got over that within a few weeks and was fine once they moved onto free-feeding on dry food. However, she never outgrew the biting. She was SUCH a biter! I'd be sitting there playing with the rest and all of a sudden I'd feel a giant chomp down on my toe, or my heel, or my finger. She had a sweet side, but for some reason, it seemed like her instinctive need to be aggressive was especially strong in her. I'm hoping she calmed down for her new owners! This observation represents a particularly good exposure of rhythmic stratigraphy within a crater in southern Arabia Terra, which was previously imaged by the Mars Orbiter Camera.Measurements of the bedding from stereo topography will help test for the presence of cyclicity, as well as evaluate regional stratigraphic correlations. One of the justifications for this target was to obtain finer scale stereo topography, and HiRISE has created an anaglyph image of this observation. This will hopefully resolve the exposed bedding at this location. Additionally, stereo topography will help to derive true stratigraphic thicknesses and bedding orientations.This caption is based on the original science rationale.Written by: HiRISE Science Team

The unpiloted ISS Progress 41 supply vehicle departs from the International Space Station at 7:41 a.m. (EDT) on April 22, 2011. Filled with trash and discarded items, Progress 41 will remain in orbit a safe distance from the station for engineering tests before being commanded by flight controllers to descend to a destructive re-entry into Earth’s atmosphere over the Pacific Ocean. The departure of Progress 41 clears the way for the next unpiloted supply ship, ISS Progress 42, which is set to launch April 27 from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, delivering three tons of food, fuel and supplies for the Expedition 27 crew.
