So my mother was effectively so into "adultery", she joined one of the most notorious religious sex cults of the 20th century. To this day, I still instinctively imagine the woman who is 'sinning' in this story to be a prostitute. I know why I make this mistake.
I know this woman's sin is "adultery", but if I'm not thinking I'll default to her being a prostitute. I would wager I refer to this woman's prostitution on this forum in past posts, because I know I've spoken about Sin. My mother's mind was a lot like yours, in the way you both 'handle' uncomfortable Truths.
