The series follows an actor who returns to his hometown after the television series The Grinder, in which he played a lawyer, ends its run. Unfortunately, his family are actual lawyers who run a law firm, so having believed that his television experience would make him qualified to be a lawyer, he decides to join the firm despite the fact that he only played one on the small screen.
