What's strange too, is I think the major plot twist that almost has to happen to justify two more books, is Daenerys turning evil like all of her ancestors, and the final battle of the series being her vs Jon Snow. The whole murdering all the Dothraki khals and emerging from the flames could be the beginning of that. Though she has always been noble and kind, she has slowly become more full of herself as the plot progresses.

There are two more books, and this season is apparently barely into the first of those? Do you honestly think with the way things are at this point in the show, that they can put off the white walker resolution for what will likely amount to another two seasons at least?

no idea, some plotlines seem incredibly long this season (like why is the high sparrow still alive), while other things are crazy rushed (like dany taking over the dothraki in one episode).
still love the show though, last episode was great imo
I think the high sparrow thing is only to give the Lannisters something to do since the Dorne/Sand Snake plot was lame as fuck and a complete failure. Also, where has Bronn been this season? He is one of the best characters, and unfortunately, when he shows up, it will likely be in something to do with the Dorne garbage.

It's worth downloading. If you don't want to go that route, apparently the HBO Now app has all the episodes and a free one month trial (Firestick TV is the way to go for that), and it releases the newest one immediately after it airs. (HBO Now is not to be confused with HBO GO which seems to be so awful that people have erroneously confused the two with endless bad reviews.)
Game of Thrones is probably the most entertaining thing on TV. An hour is a lot, but usually it will draw you in to the point of not noticing like the Wire did etc.
