Also poor Todd. Lydia and he had just taken their relationship to the next level. I mean she was sitting face to face with Todd and for the first time ever on that show she was relaxed and not ocd'y. Obv Todd had become a calming influence and he was probably one meeting away from knocking boots. And Todd was running the game. Hell he had totally broken pinkman (notice how quickly he shuffled after Todd). Kid was about to be on top of the world. But ole prideful uncle Jack wouldn't listen to Todd and ended up getting them all killed. All his hard work....wasted.

And hats off to walt for giving jesse a chance at revenge. that scene was incredible but it coulda been better if jesse had made walt say/admit "I need a favor".

Just think about it for a second. The show was written on the principle that all actions have consequences/karma, and it stuck to that up until this season, when it slowly started wrapping up into literally the safest/most audience pleasing ending possible. Walt was the center of everything terrible that happened to every single character on the show, this even being purposefully expressed by character's wardrobes' darkening in color as the more they become involved with him, and the only price he pays for all his actions is brother in law being murdered and his son hating him? Him losing his family for less than a year while living in a shack in the New Hampshire country side does not make up for that. Him battling cancer again does not make up for that -- if anything it makes his death just that much more of pussy way out, because it is almost implied that he was going to die anyways. He didn't even deserve the satisfaction of death. I can keep going, but the point is that they literally took the most pussy direction possible in leading to the end, and the finale only makes the second half of the season that much worse once you realize it.

The Nazis not killing pinkman had consequences, ie they kill pinkman take their 69 million and ride off into the sunset they'd be alive and rich because no way walt finds them or gets close to them.

And the reason they didn't? Because Todd wanted to bang Lydia.

Why is Lydia dead because she was greedy and stayed in the meth game. If she got out then she's not drinking ricin.

Or if Todd had killed skylar instead of just scaring her then walt doesn't kill Lydia because walt wouldn't have known about her connection to the Nazi home invasion (half measures).
