About Todd:

After studying photography, painting, drawing, and sculpture at the University of New Mexico, in his hometown of Albuquerque Todd Baxter spent two years teaching photography and art in the Albuquerque public school system. A recruiting call from abroad only two years into his teaching career found him traveling to Muscat, Oman where he taught for another two years at the American British Academy and explored the Middle East, Asia and Africa in his free time. Upon his return to the United States in 2002, Todd began freelancing as a designer and art director for many of Chicago’s advertising agencies, eventually working full time as an art director at Cramer Krasselt. It didn’t take long before he had officially started his own business and by 2004 Todd Baxter Photography was in full swing servicing a variety of agencies and editorial clients. Aside from his commercial work, Todd is completing a large-scale photography project titled “Owl Scouts”. The piece depicts the challenges of life through the misadventures of two young children.

Hi, my name is Brinks and I'm just gonna share a day in the life of me. When I wake up at 6am for the day I am so full of energy my parents call me crack puppy. For the remainder of the day I sleep, run, poop, pee, eat, chew on fingers, chew on rocks, chew on sticks, and chew on pretty much everything I can get my mouth on. I then like to dig up grass and eat it. Then I pick on my new older brother for a while. Finally, when I have destroyed everything in my path, I crash for the night. But my owners love me and spoil me rotten!

Calusa was born in our garage along with his brother and sister. When he was three months old, we trapped all three along with his mom, dad and older brother. All were spayed, neutered and returned to us. Calusa was brought inside as a pet and to keep our other young cat, Marco company. Calusa is named after a Florida panther at the Tampa Zoo. The name comes from the tribe of Indians that once inhabited southwest Florida. And they loved cats! Calusa loves sleeping under our bed during the day. I just loved his long white socks on his back legs.

Genie [redux]
Lena says: Genie is Jasmine's brother, the biggest of Isabella's five kittens and sooo handsome. He has tons of energy and after you tire him out he will cuddle right up with you. He has two extra toes on each front paw and one extra on each rear paw! Genie is already taken. He will be staying with a woman named Vivian and her family in Esbjerg, Denmark. There are also two other cats there that he can play with. :-)
