This is what seems to be so confusing and/or even more so disappointing to people. Some people felt he got off easy and they wanted him punished. Maybe humiliatingly so. But if you have him shot in the head by uncle jack after fucking up his attack on the Nazis because he went into a coughing fit or even worse he was caught by some dea agent and/or abq pd detective that no one is familiar with or gives a shit about. It would have been pointless and felt like a fucking waste of time feeling. Series finale are about closure and to the BB crew's credit they fit in as much as possible to give real time closure. I guess the bb crew could gone with some kinda flash forward but how do you do it without a lame montage (maybe one where walt jr learns to walk, skylar quits smoking cigs around her baby, jesse builds a box for his mom, and walt goes to prison and when he gets to his prison block this inmates start chanting "heisenberg, heisenberg, heisenberg" and his cellmate is saul or the aryans in prison shank the fuck out of him? And as for the walt getting off easy.....come the fuck on if you don't think ozymandias and granite state werent enough. The latter shoulda mollified anyone but the masochists and the angry by nature.
Also anyone here who didn't love the badger and skinny pete laser pointer scene needs to fess up to it, be a man about it, and go to detention at pfa for a week.
Also and last thing notice how he got jesse to put his finger prints all over the gun that shot jack...yeah jesse is gonna enjoy about 12 hours of freedom before it's prison for life for him. Walts dead, skylar is gonna make a deal, the nazis are dead, lydias dead .... Someone has to pay when dea agent gets smoked. Doesn't matter that jesse was helping hank, feds are gonna want to throw the book at anyone they can get their hands on how tenuously related to hanks death the person is....the need a scapegot so they can say they did something about it. My money is jesse gets charged with some variation of conspiracy murder and the feds say he and walt tricked and killed gomie and hank. Again....jesse's and walt's finger prints are both on that gun. Probably the only person who can help him is skylar and she has zero motivation to do so because (I) it would fuck up the stoy about walt being she is supposed to tell, and (II) she wanted him dead so they wouldn't be in this mess.
breaking bad is overrated
Only saw the first two minutes of the first show but I was not into it. Also Sons if Anarchy was a huge joke.The first episode ended with "Son of a Preacher Man" I damn near up chucked

The finale, once again, isn't the biggest problem. The massive decline in overall quality of the show in the last season that became way more apparent once it ended and one can look at it as a whole is.

The reason why people prefer the Sopranos ending to this is because the Sopraonos was so consistently mediocre that it was comforting after a while, and the ending was every bit as formulaic and pedestrian as the rest of the series. No more, no less. The black screen was simply another failed attempt at high brow consumeristic prose.
As an episode of Breaking Bad, the finale was fucking awful. As a series finale it was fine.
Its like when youre getting a great blowjob and finally she kinda gives up and starts working with her hand and youre like "well shit it was a good run, guess its time to blow my load to what is essentially a hand job at this point".
The Breaking Bad finale was definitely a half assed hand-job oriented blowjob.

Last season was mediocre, hard to top the last 2. As soon as the car wash was in the storyline, you knew it was gonna turn. And I have to say that Todd is a broke ass Matt Damon.
