I'm a little rusty with the odd-numbered sois. All my apartments were on the other side. What's near soi 21, is that Asoke?
It is Asoke but this is going to be potentially sub-optimal as there are so many sportsbars but I always thought incredibly highly of the large one on Soi 8. I used to watch Champions League and EPL matches there before I disassociated myself from Liverpool FC on the grounds they were fucking with my scene.

There are a number of bars that show the games with English soundtrack.
1. The Crossbar - Soi 23. Never been there but have only heard good reports.
2. The Penalty Spot. Sukhumwit (almost opposite the mouth of Soi 22) rather bereft of atmosphere for a 'sports bar' - but there are 'grief counsellors' available should your team fall behind.
3. The Robin Hood - Sukhumwit Road - as quiet and as crowded as Sherwood Forest.
4. Soi 8 - Sukhumwit Soi 8. Prides itself on being a rugby bar, but still a good place to watch as long as your game does not clash with a rubgy match.
5. Gullivers - Sukhumwit Soi 5. Huge barn of a place that shows all the games. Freelance 'grief counsellors' available. Do not play pool with any lady here, unless you enjoy have your arse whupped.
6. Pickled Liver - Sukhumwit 7/1. The owner is a Wednesday fan , and it is the venue of choice of some discerning Gooners - but all are welcome.
7. Manchester United Bar. Sukhumwit Soi 11. Avoid. Say no more.
Do not play pool with any lady here, unless you enjoy have your arse whupped.
Those girls are so fucking good, it's amazing really. They just destroy everyone.
Edit: I would go to the Crossbar if I were you, I'm pretty sure it's got impressive technology and shit. I vaguely remember being drunk in there once when my alcohol was spiked with alcohol somewhere else.

yeah soi 21 is asoke, am on soi 19 so all of those recommendations are great for me.
the penalty spot i remember walking past the other day so that could be worth checking out. plus grief consellors are always a bonus.
crossbar is also only 2 sois over from me so i will probably pop in there when i head out now to see what is going on. looks like its a toss up between those two, obv the man u bar is out of the question lol.
also shame on you for abandoning the once mighty reds, got to stick with the team through the bad times to appreciate the good ones. if you cant do that maybe you would be better off supposting citeh.

and yeah dont worry i havent forgotten about where soi cowboy is, took the lads there on their first night, they were impressed. the french canadian so much so he kept one of the girls for all of his time in bkk. no money changed hands but he was talking stupid shit about flying her to canada rofl.

This was not a mere case of poor field performance. I was not cutting the team, I was cutting the corruption occurring with the American owners and then the obscure random shit that kept happening with morons like that racist imbecile and something is rotten. It's not professional. It's not acceptable. I'll come back not when the on-field performances are up to scratch but when the insanity in administration has been kicked to the kerb.
