funny but true, the action between top and bottom hands in iado is very similar to the way the hands work in spey casting. and the way you hold the spey rod is almost identical to how one holds a bokken.
that said, its not entirely likely ill get my face torn off. its by no means improbable, but surely not likely. ive been fly casting since i was like 12 and this is basically just a variation on roll-casting.
seriously tho going to rip my own face off.
