Corcept Therapeutics has only one product: Korlym (mifepristone). The "abortion pill", otherwise known as RU-486 or "Mifeprex" (brand name), is mifepristone.

Christine Blasey Ford participated in 8 published studies, which researched uses for the "abortion pill" or mifepristone. In five of these studies, Professor Ford is listed as affiliated with Corcept Therapeutics (as well as Stanford University). See study descriptions below. Several list her email address.

Korlym is approved by the FDA for individuals with Cushing?s syndrome who also have type 2 diabetes (not diabetes only). Cushing's Syndrome is a rare disease. Based on 2002 prevalence data, it was extrapolated (estimated) that there were 587 individuals with Cushing's Syndrome in the USA. The article mentioned above describes 5000 individuals might be eligible for Korlym.

If a woman wants an abortion, she's the one that has to live with being a piece of shit. The point I was making by posting that article is the same one from page 1. I think these nuts will lie to try and protect Roe v. Wade. This takes it one step further with profiting off of abortion.

Seriously, what are the odds that an accuser has this deep of a connection to a company whose business is entirely dependent on abortion?

I believe Kavanaugh perjured himself repeatedly today. For example, I think that a full investigation could easily contradict his testimony about the meanings of the terms "Devil's Triangle," "FFFFFFFourth of July," "boof," and "Renate alumnius." I think that there are certainly many classmates and contemporaries who would testify that his statements about the extent of his drunkenness were inaccurate. In fact, there are already credible statements to that effect, and I believe that other classmates who watched today's hearing will come forward with accounts of their own.

It was possible for Kavanaugh to be honest today about his boorish behavior in high school and college and still refute the allegations of sexual assault. But, because he instead attempted to paint himself as a paragon of chastity and virtue, all of his credibility can be undermined by the relatively innocent recollections of any of hundreds of people he interacted with over those years, who saw him drunk, who wrote similar things in their yearbooks and know what they really meant, or who had even consensual sexual encounters with him. He's set himself up to where he doesn't just have to dodge allegations of rape and sexual assault, he has given sworn testimony that he didn't do some very basic things that we have every reason to believe he did do. I don't know whether Judge Kavanaugh assaulted Dr. Ford, but you are never ever going to convince me that he's not a fucking liar.
