Khlong Lord is known for its low-priced knickknacks and street food. From 6pm to midnight, visitors can ramble along the street by the canal. Recently, however, Khlong Lord goers have been warned of potential health risks deriving from unhygienic food and silverware being offered to visitors at the locale.
Ka Nang Ka Kao – a Channel 9 TV show whose name translates roughly to “Catch Red-Handed” – recently released unpleasant footage showing passerbys and homeless people urinating and defecating into the water. The program later showed one food vendor cleaning dishes with that selfsame liquid.
The hosts refrained from stating outright that food vendors actually use the water in cooking but they offered plenty of evidence for viewers to draw their own conclusions.
Khlong Lord Market, located near Sanam Luang, or “the Royal Field,” has recently gained popularity after it was set up as part of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration’s plan to improve the Old City area.
For fans of second-hand products, the market provides a great opportunity to grab a good book or musical instrument without giving it a second thought, since the offered prices are incredibly cheap. Education Ministry's website hacked for the 102nd time
BANGKOK, 29 March 2013 (NNT) - The website of the Education Minister has been hacked, for the 102nd time.
Late on Thursday night, the Education Ministry's website showed a large black banner featuring a white skull and a message reading: "We are the new generation. Please teach us what we can use in the future, and not only how to do exams."
The banner was reported to be first seen around 1am on Friday. Around 2am on the same day, it appeared to have been removed.
The Education Ministry has been hacked 102 times, including the latest one. In September last year, a hacker posted a banner on its website featuring the message: "Do you even know what you term 'volunteer spirit' means? It's useless. Now this is my 'volunteer spirit', an attempt to make this country a better place."

Who goes for the food anyway? Pretty sure I can swing at least a three day trip without eating or drinking anything indigenous (and not secreted by a female/dickgirl.) You are a wild man Sonatine.
