A hailstorm came through and you are entitled to a new roof from your insurance company. You do need to fill out the proper paperwork to get the ball rolling here as they're backed up about 2 months what with all the hail damage around here. Well Mrs. Greenbaum, that paperwork takes a while to fill out and there is a small charge with the state to file the claim, however you will be reimbursed for it from your insurance company. I mean after all, this is why you pay insurance in case something like this happens.
Oh your insurance company hasn't been in contact with you? That figures, they're overwhelmed with claims right now in this area. They're going to do everything they can to avoid giving you what you rightfully deserve. You're the 5th person I've talked with today and 3 of the others hadn't been contacted either. Look, I feel bad that your insurance company isn't helping you on this, and I'll do it for just the charge the state files, plus you give me a piece of that delicious apple pie I smell over there and I'll fill out the paperwork and take care of everything for you. Its going to take me about 2 hours to fill it out, but all I need from you is your drivers license and ssn. If you don't have any cash or a check to pay the filing fee I can put your c/c number down and the state will charge you when I turn the paperwork in. The filing fee is $250, and as I said, will be completely reimbursed to you by your insurance company. Yes I would like ice cream with my pie, thanks.
