I'm doing the brakes on a friends truck it's a gmc canyon my question is are OEM pads worth the extra cash and since this guy is a late late late braker his rotors are warped, do we buy a set of OEM rotors keep the old ones or buy a set of slotted or cross drilled rotors to aid in braking performance and longevity? I think the extra cash will pay dividends for sure and advise we go with OEM pads and high performance rotors but I haven't made my case yet.
