Lebanon County man dies while working with metal grinder in his garage

UNION TOWNSHIP, Pa. ? A Lebanon County man has died, following a grisly accident involving a metal grinder.
Eugene Schamber, 82, from Jonestown, was working with the metal grinder in the workshop in his home garage on Fort Swatara Road when the grinder's wheel exploded, sending pieces of shrapnel flying.
According to State Police, Schamber's legs were hit by pieces of the shrapnel.
EMTs from Fort Indiantown Gap Fire Department, Ono Life Lion and Annville Life Lion were at the scene to help.
Schamber died from his injuries caused by the shrapnel.

Oh and grinding stones are serious business. I bet Mr Schambers would be alive today had he checked his stones for cracks via the ring test.
Who knows maybe not.
