vertical leap issues

Apparently this "best dunk ever" was done by a man with a 42 inch vertical leap. He is also an olympic caliber high jumper as basketball is not his sport.
Then I learned from this article that Blake Griffin, the best dunker in the NBA has a 37 inch vertical leap.
And our own 408 Mike has stated that he can exceed this leap with hard work.
Dont be ridiculous Mike.

What's worse is I remember Vaughn P defending Mike with some theory about vertical leaps being easier for musclebound in the leg area people or with people withTurkish heritage or something like that.
I cant remeber how it went but soemthing like Mike can make it happen with a lot of hard work and that Mike already can outjump Blake Griffins 37 inch?
My memories hazy, but I dont understand why then Vaughn P pwned everyones faces off with facebook pics to make his point on Mike's leaping ability. Can someone remember how this all went down?
