Default Ivey might actually be God

I'm an atheist but Phil Ivey is suing Full Tilt because no one is getting paid, and I'm pretty sure that makes him god. He is also boycotting the World Series of poker until money gets paid. He is suing a company that he part owns...... It's almost erotic. There is simply no better degenerate human being on the planet.

what a huge slam dunk

Phil just did more for poker in that one short statement, than the PPA has done cumulatively and collectively for the last 2 years.

Phil has possibly just prevented all the players from getting paid.

If FT is looking for investors, and FT's highest profile player just sued FT, who would want to invest?

If FT has no investors, and Bitar just pillaged all of the players money, how will FT now get money to pay the players back their funds?

Personally, I see this move as a bit selfish for Ivey. He wants HIS money from FT. He was tired of HIS name getting dragged through the mud. HE was likely going to be playing a lot of the cash games anyway, so playing in the WSOP isnt a big deal (even if he had some pending wagers with Howard about bracelets). He just made all of the other FT pros lives a bit rougher since many of them are planning on playing WSOP events and now people will look at them as not being nobel enough to stay out of the WSOP like Ivey.

Its a real mess and he probably should have just stayed silent. Maybe he will be wearing a PS patch this week?...
