yeah i dont really understand why that song is so popular its kinda catchy but nothing amazing. was reading an article in the paper about that guy today and it was being played on radio 1 tonight. video isnt particularly funny its crazy people in a club would watch a video instead of dancing to a popular song , people are stupid.

It's got to be some kind of huge group-think / social media experiment by the guys that condition entire species to think very little and feel a great deal, in very _peculiar_ and transparently _exploitable_ ways.

Every person I ask to explain their fascination with it mumbles gibberish, vague assertions without anything remotely logical or sane or even existent. "It's just...funny!" - I didn't ask them if they thought it was funny or not, I asked them WHY they felt that way and they just dribble nonsense. It's really quite fascinating.

In electronics stores, all the displays will be playing it on loop. It's kind of like a dumb song that I could understand being mildly catchy but just as easily understand never fucking hearing it played. Something creepy going on surely.

The last time I remember being this bewildered about something I could _not_ understand was when the world was swept away by the insanity of the Macarena. This Gangnam Style shit is approaching that level of WTF.

Also, I'll be seeing him at LED @ RCA in a few days to further peruse this important socio-economic humanitarian issue and/or try a convince a stunner that I have value even though I tell the Truth.

Someone explained to me that its gone viral so hard in Korea because the whole 'gangnam style' thing is basically a huge dig at ballers, and its the first time in Korean pop culture that anyone made a shoot on baller lifestyle there.
