scooter i just read that thread it makes sense and i agree with what your are saying.
i can accept that people only associate with each other for their own purposes. however the main reason for me and probably most people ( i hope ) to hang around together i simply because we enjoy each others company.
i guess it is selfish in some way to want to hang round with people who are funny and good to talk to as opposed to people who are dull and uninteresting.
even though as you say it may be more optimal to "Convince others to do unto you as they would like you to do unto them. Then you do unto them whatever you freaking wish to do. Dumb suckers." as opposed to "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." i would much rather do the second, sub optimal play.
truth is not everyone is a cunt who is just looking out for number one and fuck everyone else.
obv there are some cunts out there no doubt but there are still plenty of good people who wont fuck their mates over at the drop of a hat and who defo wouldnt fall out over "the mere attentions of a meaningless floozy"
