I've been advised by legal counsel not to answer any further questions, in this regard. Furthermore, my psychiatric team are united in consensus that it would be unwise to revisit this traumatic period of my formative years. Dr Canning, in particular, believes that - and I quote - "being so unimpressed when one is still impressionable is the recipe for a life of turbulent confusion, mental anguish, sexual dysfunction and even inevitable death - in some cases."
After inquiring after my thoughts, my therapist concurs with Dr Canning. My parish priest felt it would be inappropriate for him to comment whilst the Holy See is assessing the affair to determine whether the Church should distance itself from the scandal or comment; however, he did inform me off the record, that he found the film "as interesting as choirgirls".
As such, I would like to request interested parties to please respect the professionals' opinions on this matter - and please refrain from asking any further implicit or explicit questions regarding my personal opinions on the Coen brothers, genocide-by-stealth, the failed abortion known as "No Country for Old Men", and old men. I have already lost two hours of my life to this ordeal, not to mention the years of turbulence, confused sex and mental dysfunction. I wish to put the past behind me, make a clean attempt at resurrecting the broken pieces of my anguished existence, and - hopefully - dodge mortality for as long as can be expected of a Coens Survivor.
Major media outlets have been directly informed of this decision. It is hoped that this statement will serve to draw a line under this entirely regrettable affair, putting it to bed. In closing, I would like to quote my acupuncturist who, in a rare flash of wise temper or tempered wisdom, sagely shouted "It is impossible to move forward when you are looking back." It is possible he was just deflecting after having missed badly, jabbing at chi - but I think there is lesson enough in the sentiment for all of us. And I ask the general public to reflect on that. Thank you for your understanding and consideration.
